WeThe15 necklace X EPYG2022

Brand new WeThe15 necklace will be available at the European Para Youth Games 2022 in Pajulahti.

An estimated 15 per cent of the world’s population have a disability. Globally that means 1.2 billion people and in Finland 700.000 people, that is, every seventh of us.

Still, very often – way too often – persons with disabilities are sidelined when important matters that impact the population at large are discussed or decisions are made.

WeThe15 is a global campaign coordinated by the International Paralympic Committee to highlight, through sports, the issues, topics and challenges releated to the position of persons with disabilities in society. The aim is to make the world a more equal place to live in.

Finnish Paralympic Committee and traditional Finnish manufacturer Kalevala have created a beautiful silver #WeThe15 necklace to support the young para athletes aiming for EPYG2022. The necklace is made from 95 % recycled silver. The necklace will be available at the European Para Youth Games 2022.
